i am sure that there will be NO new iphone 5 at the conference. but apple needs to show something new there, so as a "one more thing" they will introduce the new white iphone 4, and also another new model with 64 GB.

Well, I just did it, I used green strip putty (I can't remember the name), looks like this only a pine-green
I mounted it to the back of the desk, worked really well, just take 2 very small (half inch or so) peices and stick it on. It cleans up pretty easily off plastic, just don't try putting it on dry wall or plaster. (Hence, why I put it on the back of the desk, it wont come off very well, but who looks at the back of the desk?)
Alright. I'll go look for that or something similar at Wal-Mart or Target.

Good points. In any other profession, say a carpenter, you buy the tools before you make anything but you also have to have talent as a baseline.
Pretty sure people supporting illegally obtaining them wouldn't support said carpenter from walking into a Home Depot and walking out with $3k in power tools because "Hey, he is just getting started!".
No, I'm saying this completely fake but probable guy isn't doing well enough with his full time job (which is as a graphic artist), so he's doing a little freelance work to get to a point where he can afford his various monthly payments. It's a break even thing, and there's not much left over, if any... theoretically.

LOL! That's precisely why the "limited supply" iPad2 launch was such a fiasco. You impulse buyers couldn't pull the trigger. Seriously... were this any other company other than Apple at least top 3 execs would have had their asses thrown out the door.

Woah, so to get the album artwork it sends my list of songs to apple? what if I have an advance copy of an album from my friends band that I don't want apple to have? What about all those people who download albums, are they gonna get in trouble??

You can turn off the option under Preferences.
I also like how they've integrated the iPod updates into iTunes without having to do the updates seperately.

That's HOT (figuratively and literally)!! I think the only way you could pull that off is with an external tuner, just like laptops have an external power supply.
Does a TV tuner add THAT much heat? Plus, with 23" of real estate to play with I would think that they could find a way to keep the heat down

Siri is one of my favorite apps. I've yet to have it not understand what I was asking for. For fun, we've asked it all sorts of odd things. "Find me a hooker" did just that after scolding me for being naughty. LOL. Seriously though, if you need a cab, you ask the app to get you a cab and it does.
If Apple integrated this throughout IOS it would be a major improvement. If you don't have Siri, I highly recommend it. Ask it anything, and there it is. If they worked in talk to text and a few other things, I'd be over joyed.

Looks like a new battery for me too! Sadly I can't get onto the support page for the recall. Looks like all 1.8 millions users want to make their exchange at the same time!:D
I'm leaving my battery in in the mean time though. I really can't manage to use my powerbook as a desktop for the 4 weeks or more that it'll take to get the new battery. It's worked fine for the past 1.5 years so I don't see why it should suddenly now self destruct!

Presumably '3D' means '3D without glasses'.
I'd much prefer a PPI bump as reading PDF files in portrait orientation could use it. Would like to see it doubled from 132 PPI to 264 PPI (double resolution to 2048x1536).

Why don't you just look at the 'refurb' section of the site? Someone also mentioned that just prior to the release of the CD MBP on the 24th they put the whole range of CD MBP on the refurb site when there was usually just a small selection.

(ahem) There IS a difference. Photoshop is far more advanced that Pixelmator for P-R-O-F-E-S-S-I-O-N-A-L work. It has a deeper set of tools and features available.
And some of them even work properly :-)
