I actually had some babies this week! Um, that sounded wrong but you know what I mean. But it felt so nice to go into work and actually have the chance to photograph babies. I love doing it and it's frustrating when I don't have the opportunity to work. I'll only be working 5 more days this month before I leave for my road trip. I'm praying I'll have the chance to photograph many more cute babies so I can share them with you. Aren't they precious?

I kind of loved that blogger was down so I didn't feel as bad that I didn't have my posts ready for yesterday and today. I spent yesterday afternoon going through all of my baby photos to compile a brag book/portfolio for working in the hospital. I think it'll be great to be able to say "these are MY photos." As I said last week I've been a little discouraged with work. So far this month I've worked three days and only photographed one baby. I'm working Saturday through Tuesday and praying for lots of little ones. Since I haven't photographed that many babies since my last post I figured I'd show you all the photo I chose for the Bella monthly photo contest. I started with 26 favorite pictures from last month and had a really tough time narrowing it down. This little guy was super sweet and calm during the whole session. I knelt down and snapped this photo right as he grinned. Doesn't it just make you smile? Not only is it adorable, but I think the lighting is fabulous! I couldn't help but pick it as my submission for the month.

I've been having a challenging time at work lately. Since my last post I've only had nine babies to photograph. It's been a little frustrating wanting to work, but not having things go in my favor. I'll be working 3 days a week for all of May and then hopefully picking up more days once June comes around. I'm excited because this will be my first month submitting an image to the Bella Baby contest. We have monthly contests for Bella Baby and Bella Life. I'm having a hard time choosing just one image to submit. There's too many cute babies!
