Halloween Inspiration

Three weeks from today Heather and I are going to visit Jenny in Savannah. Janelle will be flying in from Seattle too! So I've been trying to brainstorm ideas for what to be for Halloween. It has so be something fun (obviously) but also simple because I need/want to pack light for the weekend. These are some inspiration pictures in my search for the perfect costume.

Everyday Display

My mom has been a Creative Memories consultant for 16 years. So when Heather, Jenny and I needed baby shower and wedding presents for our friends Dani and Laura at the end of May, we decided to give them Creative Memories' Everyday Display Boards. Heather and I spent about an hour one afternoon making them before our trip. They were super fast and fun to put together! It was such a meaningful gift to give on two special occasions.

My parents gave Heather and I each display board when we graduated college in 2007. I absolutely love mine! I wish I had taken a picture to post on here too (duh!). Float Wraps

I just wanted to share pictures of the awesome presents I got my parents for Mother's Day and Father's Day. I got them both 11" x 14" float wraps of pictures I've taken. They're planning to re-decorate their bedroom and bathroom, so I figured these pictures would be perfect. Besides that, I've been dying to order a float wrap from WHCC, the printing company I use. A float wrap has a gatorboard block on the back which makes the image stand out a little bit on the wall. I was very happy with how they turned out and both of my parents loved them.

Sorry for the lack of posts. I have been going non-stop since I got back from Seattle. My family had a garage sale, then Heather and I babysat last Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday we started working at the fire center. Praise God for having a job! I'm just so exhausted because we're working 10 hour days. This weekend has been a time to relax and do nothing except watch Netflix on Wii and edit some pictures from Seattle. While I was in Seattle I started experimenting with soft focus and light and ended up with this pretty awesome series. I'm not sure if I'm finished with it yet. I might have more to add and some things to change. Since I haven't updated the blog in a while I figured I'd post what I have done so far. I'm thinking about maybe selling prints of some of these.
