any Notarized document is as good as oringinals, Please get signed all your certificate copies showing the originals to a Notary Public, I think this should work. If you decide to send originals attach a self paid courier (Fed-ex)(to address yours) USCIS will never send back the document otherwise. I remember previously the H1B visa stamping was in US itself to get the passport back we need to send a self addressed FED-EX cover pre-paid.

Even i got the Section: UNKNOWN thing from NSC. My 140 approved on MAY 2007, But online case status is still showing case pending, Is it because of this?
Just to add to the pile, Mine says "UNKNOWN".
So what? Move on guys and if you're still worried take it with you to FP and ask the IO

No audit information from DOL on my PERM case.
10 months of silience from DOL.
I keep asking Lawyer about the staus. And seems like they didn't recieve any information.
Somebody suggested that some sort of sub account with read only permission can be generated if I want to see my case related information by myself.
Is this true?

Here is a good link on non-compete clause. From what I heard, these clauses cannot be enforced in most of the cases.

Now I have transferred my H1 to a Preferred Vendor X & Still working on same project with the Client C, but with a different contract all togeather.
Preferred Vendor X > the Client C
Now the issues is , my previous employeer A is harassing me ( Vendor B is having no problems) , asking for money or filing a legal case agaist me,as I have signed a non-compete agreement with them. Can he do so ?? what can be the worst consequences?

Any additional thoughts / opinions on getting travel insurance ? My uncle and aunt are coming over for 3 months in the summer. My uncle is 65 with typical BP/ Heart problem issues and aunt has no medical problem. Is ICICI Lombardi the best option ?

1) Anyone can start a company...just called the IRS, get an EIN number and then go your state office to establish the LLC or other entities. However, if you're on H1 or H4 status...you CANNOT be an active partner. This means that you CANNOT receive any forms of INCOME. Profit distribution during tax filing ok. GotFreedom...you're not receiving a salary are you?
2) Hence, it is "better" to partner with someone who can legally work. In case of an audit, you can claim that you're the silent partner and the other partner does all the work.

As the IO officers explained to you, instead of approving some other document(s), USCIS wrongly approved your I-485 application.

Hello all,
I filed for EAD renewal at TSC in early Jan 11. My current EAD expires end of April. I am just wondering how long TSC is currently taking to renew EADs.
Any experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
FYI, I received my EAD on Monday. So from application to receiving 105 days.
Took a call to the service number, scheduling an infopass appointment and a letter from my lawyer.
I think the best thing to do is setup an infopass as soon as you are eligible. I believe they do some legwork before the appt like enquiring with the EAD officer etc. before the appointment. I cancelled the infopass the day before the appointment since my online status had changed to post decision activity.

I am in the same boat. Filed EAD on DEC 10 2010 with TSC and still waiting. Contacted USCIS Customer Support and create Expedite Request last Friday. I was told that I will hear back in 5 days. Will post back if I hear anything.

Its writern in the RFE. I got an RFE and in that letter its clearly mentioned by when you need to submit the required docs.
