My husband I-140 receipt notice has a wrong receipt date, instead of june 20 it has july 20 receipt date, the rest of the forms like I-485,Ap has the right receipt date, since he filed for labor substitution receipt date is critical since the deadline was july 16, what should we do anyone has the same situation pls help:confused:

Labor approved(eb3 with pd of July 03),

In my seventh year of H1b on a one year extension expiring in August.

My PERM was filed on July 18, 2007. PERM got approved on July 26, 2007.
I-140/I-485 concurrent will be filed in first week of august 2007.
Which fee will be applied in this case ? New August filing fee or same July filing fee?

As pappu stated in the first post of the above referenced thread - some of the ongoing efforts include finding how many IV members would get benefit from such a provision and get basic details such as username/Priority Date of impacted members. Future action items might include drafting documents and letters to support this provision. There maybe actions such as sending emails etc. However we would not be able to open a public action item unless we can have thousands of our members willing to participate in a grassroots action item. This survey intends to understand the needs of our membership for this provision and collect grassroots information.
The fact is we have a dedicated group of volunteers (and we need more) who have been trying their best to spread the message about this initiative so that a strong grass-roots support can be created leading up to launch of the public action items. So far we have around 1100 people who have responded. Based on quick calculations carried out using PERM data, it is estimated that there are at least 60K-70K EB applicants waiting to file I-485/EAD/AP (this is a very conservative estimate..the actual number could be much more). Hello,
Got H1B this year via consultant,valid from Oct 1st to 2010. Applied for AOS(dervative) and got EAD, AP and I-485 receipt notice by Oct end. So I think my status is AOS now.
I haven't been put on project yet.
Planning to travel next month using AP.
On return I plan to find another job using EAD.
I wanted to know if and how using AP to re-enter effects H1B status.
Also will this "bench" period effect GC processing in anyway?

Hello,
1. I last entered US in Dec 2009 on H1B valid till Sep 2012.
2. Was laid off, changed my status to F1.
3. Got new employer, transferred my H1B to the new employer, got approval notice with no I 94 attached. My H1B visa stamping is valid till Sep 2012.
What are my options? Do I need new H1B visa stamping? Or just re enter with new I94?
