Seen It, Heard It, Read It

Seen It

1. Charlie St. Cloud

First of all, Zac Efron is gorgeous. With that said, I had an idea in my mind as to what this movie would be before I actually saw it. It definitely wasn't what I thought it would be. It was more than just boy meets girl, fall in love, blah. It was interesting and unexpected.

2. Lost: Season 6

After being behind since the fourth season, I finally finished watching Lost this week. All I can do is shake my head. I'm not quite sure I understand what happened, but geez, I'm so thankful I'm done. I think I like how it ended, or maybe I like that it's over. It was getting so confusing! I won't say anything else in case there are others out there who haven't finished it yet, except good luck!

3. The Tourist

Every year for Christmas, Santa puts movie vouchers in our stockings. While there are a bunch of movies out that I want to see, nothing I said after "The Tourist" was heard by my padre. He's been asking since he first saw previews when it was going to be out. Needless to say, I really liked it. Angie and her costumes are gorgeous and Johnny is pretty funny. It's one of those, "I need to see that again to make sure I understand what happened" movies.

Heard It

1. Andrew Belle: All Those Pretty Lights EP

Isn't he a cutie?

This baby is short and sweet, with five songs. I was going to tell you I had a favorite song on this cd, but I love them all!

2. Adrien Reju: A Million Hearts

My wonderful friend Janelle gave Heather this cd for Christmas. I knew I was going to love it because Janelle has great taste in everything! Her voice is great and the songs are as well. She almost, maybe, kinda, reminds me of Sara Bareilles, a little bit.

3. Over The Rhine: Drunkard’s Prayer

I got this, um, maybe 4 or 5 years ago, from a friend. He had actually given me three Over The Rhine cds at the time. I've listened to them over and over and absolutely loved them all. This particular one found it's way back to my ears this week. I love every song, but especially I Want You To Be My Love and Born. They're beautiful!

Read It

I've had no time to finish any books this week, although I did buy some and check some out from the library. So instead of reviewing half-read books, these are some fabulous blogs I've been reading a lot lately.

1. The Daybook

The Daybook is one of my new favorite blogs! Sydney is gorgeous and funny! She has a great style and posts fun (and funny) tutorial videos. I LOVED this top bun how-to.

2. What Would A Nerd Wear

WWANW is another great fashion blog. Heather had told me about Tania's blog about a month ago. Then a couple weeks ago, Janelle posted a link on my facebook. If you're not following her blog yet, you need to get on it! She's a grad student on a budget, making the most out of what she's got. I can definitely relate to that.
